Safe Release Recovery

The  SeaQualizer Descending Device is a pressure-activated release tool designed to safely return deep-water fish suffering from barotrauma back to depth so they can recover and swim away. When fish are brought to the surface too quickly, rapid pressure changes can cause swim bladder expansion, leading to symptoms like floating, bulging eyes, and loss of balance that reduce survival after release. The SeaQualizer solves this by lowering fish back into deeper water where natural pressure recompresses the swim bladder and restores normal buoyancy. Once the preset depth is reached—50 ft, 100 ft, or 150 ft—the device automatically releases the fish so it can recover at depth and swim off on its own.
